Biography in short.
I was born in Leytonstone, East London of African-British heritage. From young age certainly showed signs of creative ability and understanding of things of a technical nature. I studied Art & Design at High School and excelled at both still drawing and life drawing, I wanted to understand ‘Products’ better and pursued a Bachelor of Science Degree course in Product Development (Engineering Technology pathway) at the University of Huddersfield in West Yorkshire. The modules I studied ranged from Technical Drawing to Mechanical Analysis but I was really able to pursue my interest in the designing of products through the study of Computer Aided Design.
Even though working with Products & CAD has been my primary career focus I have also spent a significant time dedicated an understanding Workshop & Shop floor practices. As I continue to work closely with Furniture as a proud Assembly Technician with 10+ years of experience and having built every from Beds to Kitchen Cabinets, I have gained valuable knowledge in Furniture Construction, Joinery and Power Tools that I’m planning to utilize in my future as a Designer and Developer.
Over the years since I have worked in the United Kingdom & Canada as Product Design Engineer, CAD Technician and Design Consultant for manufacturing companies in Aerospace, Rail, Heavy Lifting Equipment, Furniture Design and Signage.
In terms of Music I’ve always been a keen listener, my favourite genres ranging from Hiphop/The Blues/Jazz/Country. I started playing the Guitar and participating in its musical culture at around the age of 20 years. At the moment I’m an listening to Beyonce, Cowboy Carter!!!
